Nathan Bonk uses narrative storytelling in the digital medium to give insight into fictitious worlds of his narrative doing. The way in which visuals drive emotional reception informs each piece. Through technical means of color and iconographic narratives, he aims to build and deepen relationships and helping those realize what is within them.
His background work aims to subvert the spaces we inhabit with dramatic scale or aesthetic. Put into film it encapsulates a focus of movement or stillness.
He focuses on such feelings of megalophobia to inform the isolation and solitude of experiences.
He also aims to question why people and places fall into predetermined roles and the psychological consequences - but not from a place of immediate unrefined reaction...
